Healthy Living. Make it a Priority
and Permanent!

You can purposely enjoy healthy living by putting into motion a few simple practices. Good nutrition, correct exercise, and the positive use of your mind will pave the way to excellent health!

Healthy living is one of our greatest pleasures. Too often we let it slip away for no better reason than pleasing our taste buds, trying to save time or a lack of education.

If everyone would change his or her way of thinking to the following:

  • what I eat

  • how I move and

  • what I think about

  • will determine how much health I enjoy
--- our health crisis would gradually disappear.

Take Back Control

You can't take in: throughout each day and expect to experience great health over the long haul. These:
  • play havoc with your immune system

  • create toxicity

  • and contribute to obesity.
You also can't enjoy sustained health if you are a major couch potato (instead become a super spud!). Your body needs you to move so that it can do its job correctly.

Here you can read about some of the exercises I like most and recommend to my coaching clients.

Belly Fat

It is more difficult to experience healthy living if you have to much belly fat. This fat threatens your health more than any other. It is a strong predictor of possible health problems to come such as:
  • diabetes

  • heart disease

  • and cancer.

Processed Meat

Instead of eating healthy protein many people, because of the convenience and time saved, will eat processed meats. While more convenient, this is very hard on your health.

The problem is that:

  • sodium nitrite or BHA is put in them. These unhealthy chemicals are added to them as preservatives

  • this is done to keep the meat from turning color

  • the health repercussions that result from any exposure to these chemicals is long and scary.
If you would like to know how these chemicals came to be in our food supply go to processed meats.

A Free Download

You can learn a simple integrated way of being healthy by reading and putting into practice "The Science of Being Well". This 90-page book was written by Wallace Wattles, a scientist, and he explains in very simple terms how a person should live in order to enjoy good health.

Healthy Living Made Simple

I give this book a wholehearted recommendation. When I mention someone else's work on my site I will give you its strengths and weaknesses.

In this case I have no weakness to point out, unless it is the fact it was written long ago. I believe his information to be true and truth stands for a long time. So it's all good in my opinion (and did I mention it's free?).

I had been doing many of the things he talks about, some on purpose and some by accident, when I first read his book. At the time I was purposely trying to improve my health and I immediately recognized why I never get a cold, the flu, or become sick.
