Healthy weight loss can be achieved when you do some or all of the following:- eat right for your metabolic type
- eat real food
- get out and exercise
- gain an understanding that the mind, body and emotions are all important to your weight (and health)

Your Metabolic Type
There are 3 different metabolic types. They are: - protein types
- carb types
- and mixed types.
This is why a one size fits all diet plan won't work for an entire population. We’re not all the same type. Once you know your type, it is much easier to plan a healthy diet that is in harmony with your body.To feel good after a meal is very important. If you are bloated, sluggish, or have an upset stomach, you've made the wrong food choices for your type.
Eat Real Food
If the majority of your diet consists of processed food that comes out of a: you are consuming mostly empty calories that do not provide your body with what it needs.That's one reason you overeat on these types of foods, your body still needs actual nourishment and so it sends hunger signals wanting more even though you've eaten enough by volume.
Exercise is Important
Trying to accomplish healthy weight loss without exercise is a frustratingly slow process. Starting to exercise and gradually increasing the difficulty and duration of the exercise will build muscle. This helps your body burn calories and fat easier.Exercise doesn't have to always be a formal "workout" in order to benefit you. You can get benefits from: - exercising during TV time

treadmill, rower, etc...)
- using the stairs instead of the elevator
- going for a walk during your lunch/work break
- riding your
bike
instead of taking the car on short jaunts
