Healthy Eating Plans

Healthy eating plans are what fuel good health and create a fit and trim body. It makes no sense to try a fad diet for a short time to lose some weight at the expense of your health.

Eating in this manner will not only be harmful to your health, it generally causes weight gain. Unfortunately many people do not understand this.

A better way is to learn what your body needs (we're not all the same) and build a diet plan tailored to your:

A better mindset!

Your understanding and mindset that your diet is what you're going to eat from now on, is a valuable key help you to eat smart. A diet isn't something you "go on" to lose weight.

Instead of eating to lose weight, try eating healthy food to improve your health and wellness. If you let yourself become unhealthy, your weight doesn't seem all that important by comparison.

Food Choices

Healthy diets consist of real, nutrient dense foods. You will find these on the perimeter of most grocery stores. These include:
  • meat

  • fruit

  • veggies

  • and dairy products.
Most of the food on the shelves of the interior of the store do not support you in eating healthy. In fact, they have a negative impact on health over time.

These foods tend to come packaged in a can, box or some other package, with brightly colored and often deceptive advertising (beware of the No Transfats type statement).

Food Preparation

Ok, you've gone grocery shopping. You've purchased real food that is healthy and nutritious. It makes no sense to destroy it's nutrition when cooking it.

Successful Diets

Diets that work have some common elements, they:
  • will be right for your metabolic type

  • are enjoyable for you and you're able to "stick with it"

  • cause you to eat healthier than you were before your "diet" started.
