Your Diet Program?
How's your current diet program treating you? Do you: hop from one thing to anothereat with no plan at alltry the latest starvation diet only to quit, go on an eating spree and gain back more than you lost (which often happens).I'd like you to consider this. Your diet program shouldn't be based on: a new best selling booksomething that only considers weight lossthe premise that it lasts for a matter of a few weeks or months.starving yourself for a period of time to lose a few pounds(which doesn't work and is unhealthy).
"Diets Don't Work"
Diets are actually a cause of weight gain. The typical diet reduces caloric intake which causes:- your
metabolism
to slow
- a loss of muscle along with fat if you're not exercising. Loss of muscle causes a further slowing of your metabolism.
- your metabolic rate is so slowed that when you go back to your old eating pattern, you gain all your weight back plus a little more (yo-yo dieting).
Taking in less than about 1200 calories puts your body into starvation mode and it will start burning fewer calories and increasing fat depositing enzymes. These cause the body to store more fat.Instead of letting your body go into starvation mode, you need to
eat healthy
-- often. Then it will willingly release fat.

are built on the following concepts:your diet is what you will eat from now onit needs to support your healthyou should look forward to your mealsand you should never be more than moderately hungry at anytime.
I recommend to my
coaching clients
that they eat smaller portions of healthy food 5-6 times per day. You will be less likely to over do it when eating in this manner because you know there is another meal coming shortly.Eat in harmony with your
metabolic type.
Monitor how different foods make you feel after eating. It's not difficult, just note those that consistently leave you feeling sluggish, bloated, etc....
Eating smart
will help make your
diet plan
much more successful and easier to follow.
