Constipation (Not Pooping Easily)
Constipation isn’t exactly cocktail party conversation, but it is an important and mostly overlooked part in your health and wellness. Constipation is one of the first signs that your system is becoming toxic. As I tell my
coaching
clients, you will not experience good health throughout your lifetime if your system becomes and stays toxic (autointoxication). You must detoxify yourself if you are toxic and take steps to ensure you remain that way. When your system is toxic you run the risk of: - putting too much strain on your organs
- causing weight gain and
- manifesting symptoms that we tend to call diseases.
How do you get a Toxic Bowel?
Poor dietary choices are the culprit for these problems. If you are eating too much:- sugary foods
- drinking regular pop, (
diet pop
is even worse)
- fast foods
- chips
- fries
- candy, etc...
you are at risk of having problems and constipation is a common early sign. Morgan Spurlock, a 33 year old filmmaker, made a movie called "Super Size Me". In it he is a human guinea pig that eats 3 meals a day at McDonald's. His experience was: - a 25 pound weight gain
- vomiting,
- a toxic liver
- a raise in cholesterol of more than 60 points
- depression and
- headaches
In an interview with the New York Post he said "It was really crazy, my body basically fell apart over the course of 30 days".The Global College of Natural Medicine, as of 2000, said one half of the U. S. population lives with a chronic health condition and 60 million have more than one. Toxicity is a huge problem, so if constipation is a problem for you....take note! We need to wake up. We are digging our graves with our teeth!
Detoxing your System.
The first thing you have to do is detox your system. You can approach this in a number of ways. You can: -
do colonics,
- enemas or
- take fiber products that will clean you out over time.
When you start your "cleaning out" process you will likely be amazed with the results after a short time. Things come out that are hard to believe. You will look in the toilet and think - I never ate anything that looked like that!The choice of protocols is up to you. I believe they are all beneficial, but I choose to use

My brother went in to have a physical and as he is 50 they recommended a colonoscopy (the old camera up your behind trick). The Dr. remarked afterwards that his colon was remarkably clean. A Natural and Healthy way to Go :)
If you feel constipated, an excellent solution is to try jumping on a
mini trampoline.
By itself this is one of the healthiest exercises you can do.The change from being weightless at the top of the jump and the force created at the bottom causes every cell in your body to contract.
Because of this I use it quite often.
However, whenever I feel the least bit constipated I will purposely go jump on the trampoline for a few minutes. That is usually enough to ensure that I need to head straight to the bathroom.
Elimination
Once again, this won't make it as a conversational gambit on the cocktail circuit, but here goes.Modern day toilets are not properly designed. You sit straight up and don’t eliminate fully. The proper posture in elimination is to have your shoulders on your knees, with your feet on the ground. This allows you to evacuate completely (you don’t want to have anything left, do you?). Next time you're reading the sports page, I mean, well you know what I mean, when you think your done – try putting your shoulders on your knees and see if you don’t get rid of more waste.
Better Nutritional Choices
The next thing you need to do to detoxify your system, is improve your diet. Start eating
"real" or "live" foods
instead of all the processed and
sugary
foods available today.Here are two easy ways to get all the servings of fresh
fruits
and
vegetables
you need for good overall health. Proper nutritional intake will be a great support to your bowel health. Be aware, think for yourself, and take control of your own health!
